Pirates Press Refurb Announced!~

Unfortunatly I have nothing to talk about for a few weeks.
So I've decided to announce a Refurb.
Starting tomorrow till December 2nd the site will be closed for refurb and to add new and fix old features.

A new Pirates Press Website is currently up for Beta.

Pirates Press Cove is the ultimate Raven's Cove fan base.
Talking of tales about Raven's Cove is something to be made a blog so Pirates Press Cove is up for beta.
We expect to discontinue it by March or later after Raven's Cove is considered an "Original" island.

Sorry for the non-posting lately I've been busy with the design of it.

But real quick long time ago I did a "Guess this thing" photo and to get that respond cleared it was on Raven's Cove near the front.

THE GREATEST THING EVER!!!

Pirates Press is about to reach 50 Posts!
And the blog will be extended AGAIN.
With popular demand this month different from the previous months October bashed in some of the greatest things in the history of Pirates Press.

It's events and various things will be INCREASING thanks to 265 visits just in October.

The Moon...

I couldn't post any sooner. But as you see below is a picture of me from the shores of Tortuga.

I was staying in the water for 30 minutes and the moon didn't vanish until I was defeated by a level 50.

That is about all to write about.

Just a small update...

Hello! Everyone today is the day of the invasions.
I've decided to make 2 posts today.
1 regarding the Moon Invasion and the stats of Pirates Press.
I just wanted to let you know that this month Pirates Press viewage is down 30%.
This is a problem. In September we had a total of 165 page views. This month we are only at 114 at the time.
I want to spike the updates back up. I didn't expect this but gladly I've seen major improvements and more views to the site monthly till now.
Halloween is coming up so stay tuned.
In order to keep my visitors happy and continously reading i've decided to add more excitement to Pirates Press.

Look in the future close to Halloween for more of this as promised...

The Pirates Press Beta was just called recently.
Pirates Press will no longer be in Beta Test.
But we are testing some stuff on the new test site.

Raven's Cove Video!!!

As Promised from back before beta was even complete, I promised a video of Raven's Cove!

This is episode 1 of the 5 upcoming episodes.
The first one tours the island and shows the enemies of the basic island.
When I reach level 30 I will make parts 2 - 5 showing the rest of the quest in 3 if not 4 minutes.

Unfortunatly several errors we're encountered while trying to upload it...
So I will be unable to upload it.
I'm sorry and I hope to soon find a solution for the upcoming parts to show the quest.

Expect more Pirates Press Videos throughout October.

Pirates Press Beta Ending Announced!

Pirates Press BETA is about to end!
Then the Pirates Press BETA will not have many Bugs anymore!

The BETA will end (Or is supposed to end) on 10/17/10!
Just in time for Halloween and we will have more stuff to work out and a new theme for the occasion!
Also a new worker will make a post tomorrow to introduce himself.
Jamcuso is now one of our intern writers now!

RAVEN COVE IS ON THE LIVE SERVER!

Yes Raven Cove is now on the live server. It is a long update and I hope to post about it sometime over the week and show more photos of the island itself and it's new details and firsts for POTCO.

Top Guild Choice UPDATE!

This is a Top Guild Choice!
But for now on Top Guild Choice will only be once every 3 months.
Guild Spotlight will be renamed in 2011 and will be majorly changed as well.

Raven Cove Update 3!

Raven Cove is still in fact being explored by pirates on the test server.

But leaked information shows that the new island has been under construction since 2009!

How is this possible? Well... In Disney's "Get Connected" on Disney Channel while looking at the developers rooms you see a cloud of fog and the size of the island.

Raven Cove could be released around Halloween, otherwise we expect it faster.
More updates will come in about Raven Cove until it's release.

New Pirates Press Page!

Pirates Press Invasion! Is under construction right now.

A pirates log is being created by me as well.
The Pirate Log is randomly inspirated story posted daily on an expedition and stories like that.

Raven Cove Update!

I visited the Test Server today and took a photo of something you might like to see....

If you don't know what it is, it's a Raven Cove GHOST!

I'm trying to get to Level 30 so that I can try the quest but by then it should be on the Live Server.



I plan to put more on Raven Cove up until it's updated then post about the island in general.

The creation of the Island is now complete and should be released after it has been tested.

Also speaking of The TEST Server.
I'm working on a new signature for the Pirates Press website. Our one right now is too big so we're testing it on the test server.

Raven Cove CONFIRMED (UPDATED!)

I've been working on Pirates Online to find out more about the dense fog surrounding The now confirmed RAVEN COVE!

Yeah that is right! Raven Cove is the name of the island in a dense fog. The cause of the fog is due to a developers day. Which means they're still developing this island. Among these updates will unleash 2 new types of enemies! Presenting FIREBATS AND GHOSTS!
Firebats and Ghosts are currently only announced to be over level 30 and found on RAVEN COVE ONLY!
This update has been announced for release in the Beginning of October, meaning a Halloween update!
Nothing else has been announced yet but look up "Raven Cove Test Server September" to see what Raven Cove looks like on the test server! Just in a search box.

Check back tomorrow and I hope to have more information on Raven Cove!

2 big pieces of news!

Raven Cove is confirmed, the name does start with Raven we know but Cove is so far just another rumored guess.
These "Rumored Guesses" are just one of the various thought names.
This one though sounds like the story Disney has on the Grog Blog.
So check that out!

Other than that this weekend (17 - 19) is x2 Notoriety Weekend!

Basic members will get this on the 17th and the 18th then on the 19th the Unlimited access members will only get this day!
From 3 to 6 pm you will be able x2 notoriety -- In Pacific Time!

Defeat 1 Phantom Ship
Defeat 1 Flagship and all of it's enemies.

Pirates Press Challenge!

While we are building the main page for Pirates Press we have something for you!

The Pirates Press Challenge will have an entry every 2 days to created a quest!

There will be 15 - 25 things in this Pirates Press Challenge.
Each of the things will stack up on their difficulty each day from Easy to Challenging.

Each day we'll post another task.
On the final task we'll go back through the tasks and see what we did!
Have fun, Here's the first task:

Task 1 - 5% complete
Defeat 10 Navy Guards
Defeat 10 EITC Guards

We'll check back in 2 days for Task 2!

New Island? Raven Cove?

A new island was shown today up close by Pirates Press. We have a photo to show:

Could this be the legendary Raven Cove?
Talk about it, we'll talk more about it when the dense fogs clear up.

Pirates Press Refurb

Today between 10am and 1pm the Pirates Press website will be down for a planned refurb of the site. We're going to test new looks for the site and hopefully find a few good new looks for it.
The refurb might run a little over one if we're still busy.
At max we say that the page may be closed the entire day.
We're also setting up a Pirates Press Test Site!
That will be shown after we have it running, It will be opened later.

Gathering Of the Guilds EVENT!

Pirates Online Recently announced their "Gathering Of the Guilds Event!" on September 12th at the Docks of Padres and Tortuga all the guilds will be able to come down for an epic event and have fun in several activities.
This will be a major time to see a GM (GameMaster), Most GameMasters come to popular servers and I've experienced it once before.
Me and Captevyo will be posting lots about this event through out the day of September 12th, so check the Guilds and Crew Page cause I may post an update or 2 if not a few more!

So check back on September 12th for the Gathering of the Guilds Event!

July Top Guild Choice

We Recently had a July Top Choice announced, it was 3 great guilds narrowed down:

Fighting Defenders
We later watched each of their fighting skills and saw which was better.
Fighting Defenders was eliminated first, then it came down to the last 2,
In the end..
SPANIA WON!

Today we're going to Spotlight on Stowawaying,
At any of the main islands (Cuba, Padres, Port, Tortuga) you can get to other islands.

Just by walking up to a Dockworker:

This is the Dock Worker on Port Royal, shown on the left, if you walk up to him and talk to him a new window will open.

Here it is, I have my amount of gold and you pay to go to the other islands.

Port Royal Invasions!

Today we are talking about a very big topic,
The Port Royal Invasions!
Jolly Roger has invaded all the islands and now he's invading Port Royal!
I couldn't get any photos but I will tell you that we got to Brigade 4 then he came on shore.
20 minutes before I racked up some major new Guild members though.
When Jolly came to the mansion it was one big lag fest as he began to break the walls, he was really angry.
I got knocked out once.
And Jolly was defeated!

Padres Del Feugo Invasion UPDATE #1!

Jolly Roger hasn't ever been caught on tape in a blunder of evil crimes against the world. But tonight we got him in a photo.
Jolly Roger For the last 6 months at the level of 999 has been treating us to a present.
His work has stole weapons from us and many other things.

If you see in the photo above Jolly is unleashing his fury among the town of Padres Del Fuego. But just before the battle another boss showed up on the other side of the island here is the photo:

General Bloodless is the 2nd person on the scene of this Padres Invasion, he was found carrying a sword and he is only Level 10, Mysteriously...

This is unknown yet and will soon be solved as the Padres Mystery is continuing.

Darwin12 is always making ill fortresses in this crazy user-made universe I found

One of my favorite pictures, taken during night just 2 minutes before the Padres Del Fuego invasion was announced I was on my way and I hit the clock to see what time it was, it was 2 minute from the invasion so I looked at the moon and focused it and took a shot just as it changed....

I just want to say Welcome to Pirates Press the well updated online community for Pirates Online, this blog is one of many out there but something about this one just gives more secrets out to users and readers everywhere, when something new is announced we're here and talking about it!

Like today we will go over some news and some pretty cool updates.

This entire weekend you had the chance to test the Unlimited Access on Pirates Online for FREE,
Today was the day it was concluded and with almost 3 servers completly full during this event, the event was the one that waved down around the most people that came online this year. But now it's over,
"It was a new experience i've never tasted before..." says "Buccaneer" and other people agree that this event was the most fun of all. But unfortunatly, it's concluded itself for the year of 2010.

Also today's other news is a CONTEST!
YEAH!
This week the people at Pirates Online are making a contest for all pirates in existance to the date have been asked to sink the most ships in their new game "Cannon Defense", they say the top 20 people who have accomplished this goal will be featured on their front page news assuring Fame, Glory and tons of fans.
So get to work mate! You best be working hard because the due date is AUGUST 1ST!!!

The "Today in the Servers" story is MADE-UP!!
Me and my guild we're running across the bridge of Perdes Del Fuego, this bridge isn't that old but we have weird feelings due to Jolly Roger coming lately, the sky turned green and my entire guild team of 30 Looked into the sky and saw dark clouds thundering, it was almost night-time so we would have to get all the supplies unloaded and sold on this island before night otherwise we'd be stuck here, minutes after the sun went down the moon came up and a face, a daringly evil face showed itself, the thunder had quit but the music in the background changed, all the pirates stormed here in time to see Jolly's Ship pull in, As for the "Dark and Evil" guild, we stopped at the store over the side of the bridge to see people barricading the walls, "Aye that's about it, I think we're ready mates, BRACE YOURSELFS!" someone said just as a cannon hit onshore and knocked down one of the many walls we had up, me and the 21 other users in my guild ran into town through the hole the cannon made and came face to face with Jolly Roger...
We slowly backed up but it was no use, he threw his potion on the ground and knocked us all out, all but me, it was up to me. "Aye mate, you really think you can beat me!?" and the entire undead army laughed, "We're all dead! You're just a small Level 15 pirate, so who do you think you are challenging me?" He yelled off the echoing walls loudly. "Oh it's not just me" I said I turned around and I was face to face with thousands of other pirates, "ATTACK!" I yelled Jolly said it on the same queue and then there was a gigantic light in-between the fight, as for this, We had won, he retreated and got back on his ship, then vanishing beyond...
